There are two kinds of emergency contraception:
Levonelle One Step®, the emergency contraceptive pill Can be taken up to 3 days (72 hours) after unprotected sex
The IUD (Intrauterine device) also called the coil Can be fitted up to 5 days (120 hours) after unprotected sex.
