Withdrawal method (coitus interruptus, or 'being careful')
This is one of the oldest methods of contraception and also one of the least reliable. When you are having sex, the man has to take his penis out of your vagina before he ejaculates (comes). The idea is that this stops sperm from entering the woman's vagina.
This method requires a great deal of control from the man and frequently
fails because small drops of sperm can escape from the penis into the
vagina before the man ejaculates.
