What is an ectopic pregnancy?

This is a pregnancy which develops outside of the womb, usually in one of the Fallopian tubes. It is a medical emergency. Ectopic pregnancy is very rare, but it is also serious, so if you are in any way worried, you should see your doctor without delay.
